KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 — Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail today expressed ignorance over the announcement that his service as Attorney-General has been discontinued due to health reasons.
When contacted by Malay Mail Online, Gani only said that he was not aware of the decision that was conveyed by Chief Secretary Tan Sri Ali Hamsa this morning (Gani hanya berkata beliau tidak mengetahui mengenai keputusan yang diumumkan oleh Ketua Setiausaha Tan Sri Ali Hamsa pagi ini.)
“I don’t know, OK? I don’t want to say a word right now,” (Saya tidak tahu, OK? Saya tidak mahu berkata apa-apa sekarang) he told Malay Mail Online when asked when the decision was made.
Ali Hamsa announced this morning that Abdul Gani’s tenure as A-G was discontinued yesterday owing to the latter’s “health”.
