PLUS will be taking various steps to help the public enjoy a more comfortable journey on the highway this hari raya holidays.
“PLUS will be focusing on strategies on traffic distribution, promoting customer convenience and efficient traffic management this hari raya holidays,” said PLUS Chief Operating Officer, Mohammad Fuad Khusairi.
According to Fuad, PLUS is issuing the Travel Time Advisory (TTA) and offering toll rebate on selected days during the holidays to distribute the traffic.
“The toll rebate and the TTA are aimed at encouraging the public to travel during off-peak days and to avoid entering the highways at the same time,” said Fuad.
In addition, the following strategies will also be taken:-
· All construction and maintenance works will be temporarily suspended between 16 to 27 August and 30 August until 2 September.
· Temporary closure of all Reload Lanes at toll plazas from 17 August until 26 August.
